MIA Again?!

Hi loveys, sorry for the lack of posts. Currently, I've been sharing what I've been wearing for my last two weeks at my internship at Johnson & Johnson, but as I'm sure you've noticed... I have not posted AT ALL this week!! Here's why:

Monday I worked from home, so while I'm sure a picture of me in sweats and a T-shirt would have sufficed, I did not deem it necessary to post as a proper work outfit.

Tuesday I went to the city to visit Edelman (an amazing PR agency). I did not post my outfit of choice obvi, but I wore a black pencil skirt, ivory v-neck top and leopard flats.Cute, comfy and appropriate!

Wednesday I was planning to go to work, but when I went to my car I noticed I had a flat tire... not a little semi-flat tire, a full-blown flat. So I ended up working from home again while I spent over $600 fixing the damage. UGH. All that money I could have used for shopping!!

Today I'm back in the office. No photo for my outfit either. I really dropped the ball this week!!

Lucky (my cat on the left) seems to be very excited about this outfit! Mint chiffon blouse with black accents and Free People jeggings. Peep toe black patent leather flats with a cute bow. A comfy, yet super aborable look.

I went with a navy blue pencil skirt and ivory blouse with snakeskin flats. Sexy, cute, and appropriate. It's business-sexy!

Tip of the Day: If more than half your thigh is exposed when you sit down (or worse, when you're standing up)... it's not for work.

Today we have a basic fitted black v-neck t-shirt with a tan gathered pencil skirt and black snakeskin flats. This works for work because it's appropriate yet sexy. Hope you all love.

Tip of the Day: If we can tell what color bar and/or panties you're wearing... it's not for work.

Happy Monday! I hope you've all been anxiously awaiting this two-week long segment of fashionable, yet appropriate work outfits, where I'll be posting my work outfit for the day...

Who doesn't love a navy dress with little white bows?! I know, adorable. As you can see, I wore this navy dress and a brown leather belt. For shoes, I went with my Guess silver metallic strapy sandals.

This works for work because the dress hides bra straps and cleavage while hitting just at the knee. The shoes, while sandals, are dressy enough for my work environment.

Tip of the day: If you'd wear it out clubbing... it's not for work.

Hi all,

Sorry about not posting in 8434 years. These past few months have been crazy!

I've been interning at Johnson & Johnson and have just been swamped with work. But, working there has led me to report back to you all with the madness I have been seeing. I've come to the conclusion that some people DO NOT know how to dress appropriately for work! I've witnessed countless business-casual faux pas these past few months and feel that it's time for people to get educated on how to properly dress in a work environment!

So, with that said, for the remainder of my internship I will be posting everyday my outfit of choice. But note, where I work is business-casual. Jeans and nice sandals are allowed.
